R&D project about interaction of peptides with living cells
Creation of convenient and powerful tools for studying the interaction of peptides with living cells. Needed to prepare algorithms for specific photo processing.
The cells were painted with a specially synthesized fluorescently labeled peptide. After special processing of microphotograph files, we obtain the fluorescence intensity distribution at different wavelengths. That allows us to visualize the map of local hydration (proton-donor) of the cell fragments.
In addition, valuable information was obtained about the degree and penetration velocity of the peptide into the cell.
